Mohammed Alimullah is a permanent resident of Moghbazar in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He carries citizenship of both Bangladesh and Canada. He is a successful businessman in Bangladesh and Canada. In 1990, he left Bangladesh for Canada.
He has been living in Montreal since then. In the year 2000, he completed the accounting diploma from JFK school. In 2004, he got his Real Estate certificate from Grand Montreal Real Estate, making him the 2nd Bangladeshi to become a real estate broker at the time. He worked for Century 21 Immo-Plus respectively until 2011.
He was awarded the Centurion Award (highest commission) for 2 consecutive years, 2006 and 2007. In 2008, he started a construction company in Bangladesh called Landmarx Construction and Development ltd . He has completed many projects in various location in Dhaka. Places such as Moghbazar, Rampura, and Malibagh. He is member of REHAB. In 2013, he became the CEO of the largest film and distribution company in Bangladesh, Jaaz Multimedia.
He became joint secretary of the Bangladesh Producer and Distribution Association after being elected in 2019. In 1987, he became a member of the Red Crescent Youth. In 1990, he became co-president of the Dhaka Capital Leo Club. His father was a freedom fighter, and was a supporter of the Awami League, which is a political group in Bangladesh, and has been in power since the last 12 years.
He was Vice president of the National Chatro League Ramna Thana in 1887. Mohammed Alimullah is currently a member of the Executive Board of the Canadian Awami League. He is married, and he have two son. His eldest son is currently studying Political Science in Concordia University which is in Montreal, Canada.
His youngest son is a prominent child musician in Bangladesh. He is currently studying in grade 9 at the Canadian International School of Bangladesh
